Jp 18

One time that I lost, I was competing in a track meet. I was participating in the 110 meter hurdles. I was representing Durling middle school. Before the race started, I was getting ready going through my hurdle routine such as, stretching, jumping it a couple of times. I was also shaking off the nervousness I had in me. Then it was time to start the race, so I headed up to the starting position. There were five other people competing. Then the official starts. "on your mark, get set, go!!!!". I was off. During the race I was in first place. I was so fast that the wind pressing against my skin. No one was ahead of me. I was then reaching the last hurdle, and as soon as I jumped my left leg got caught on the hurdle and I tripped. Bang!!! I fell on my head an rolled. I got up as fast as I could and finished the race with second place. I was so embarrassed, even though I trained really hard for this race and failed to win. The oohs from the crowd made me feel even more embarrassed, although I tried my hardest to win. The coach came towards me and asks if I was alright but I replied, "yes" even though I was not ok. I had a cut on my leg that was bleeding but ignored it and the pain. The coach then explains to me that I was winning by three hurdles. After the race, I walked away because I had the intention to win, yet I lost to the competitor that had beaten me by .5 seconds. It was a very close race at the end, but the competition ended in my defeat. 

Jp 14

Jim was driving with his friends to Dave and Busters, In canada, but they encountered one major problem. During his drive with his friends, one of them got drunk. They were so drunk that they decided to take the steering wheel from Jim. Jim refused letting him take the steering wheel, and pushed him back into his seat. Jim's friend was so enraged that he pushed Jim again and the car swirved almost losing control of the vehicle. Dave went to go back and hit his friend, but left the  the steering wheel in the process, and thus losing control of the vehicle as he did so. The vehicle crashed. Investigators are investigated the accident. During the accident they found useful information and evidence. They found out that there were survivors by the track of blood left behind in a trail. Also, there were

A couple of bodies missing from the accident. They spoke to witnessesfor what   had happened at the accident. Witnesses say he spun out of control while others say another vehicle crashed into him. Investigators are still searching for more evidence and information.

Journal 12

If I was the cook for thanksgiving this year I would cook a big turkey first. I would cook the turkey first, because without the turkey how would it be thanksgiving dinner. The turkey is one of the most delicious meals of thanksgiving. Secondly, I would cook side foods to compliment the turkey such as, ham, red rice, potato salad etc. Third, after my dinner is complete I would then set up the table ,or prepare. I would set the table up with plates, spoons, and forks for the guests. Since I would be the cook for thanksgiving I would invite a tremendous amount of people including friends and family. The reason I would invite so much people to taste my food is so they can enjoy it, and spend time with the rest of us. At the end of the day we all had a great time eating, and celebrating on a glorious day, even though I am stuck with cleaning the mess afterwards.

Most entertaining aspect of the johnycuocake

The most entertaining aspect of the Johnny cupcake presentation was when he said the joke about dr. Dre ad when he did the manic trick with the coloring book. Also, when he said he put orajel on his friends cup so that when they talked to girls there mouth was numb and slobbery. Also when he pulled a prank on his friend with the whoopy cushion and told him that could be his for 4.99. I like how he traded whoopy cushions. I also liked how he said he was makin money that the government did not no. Another part of his presentation that I liked and thought that was very influential was how he had a slogan. This slogan said something about doing what we love. This is very inspiring because people just do things for money. This presentation was inspiring, very direct and influential. This information was very helpful to me and my carrer and future.

Characteristic

One characteristic I like about myself is that I am funny. Being funny is always satisfying to me and very entertaining to others. Another thing I like about myself is that I am a very determined and confident person. I do not let others out me down and I could never give up on something I truly love to do. One thing I do not like about myself is that it is hard to say no to something and I am kind of a stubborn person. I think I am stubborn because I am very stuck up and kinda hard to convince about something. I do not like when people are better than me at something I like or when I think I am better. Also, because I think it effects my happy and funny side. Also people do not like stubbornness. This is why I do not like my stubborn side because it interferes with my characteristic.

Invention

The money machine is a machine that produces money. It does not run out of money. The machine contains different dollar bills such as 1, 5, 10, 100, etc. it functions by putting a piece of paper in the machine. The the machine cuts the paper to the correct size. It then colors the paper green. Then it designs the green paper and puts the proper presidents on each dollar. It will benefit the people because anyone can use this machine with paper. No one will ever be poor. People can start there own businesses since there is so much money. This machines also uses the exact paper of the actual dollars. Also if decided to bring our own paper it would then be converted to the actual dollars used in America. This machine would make the word less unemployed and make people happy. That is how it would benefit the society.

If money is not an object

Of money was not an object I woul still be Luis Ramos. Money really does not define me. If money did not exist I would do what I love that is to have fun. I love what I do not for the money but because of my passion or interest towards what I love to do. In terms of real life situation, I would be a poor, broke hag that nobody would know or even ad knowledge his presence. Without money how would I get food to eat, or the clothes I wear on my back other than stealing. If money was not an object, then how am I supposed to get rich one day. If money was not an object it wouldn't matter because I wanna play basketball for the rest of my life. I work hard at it everyday and try perfecting my skills every single day. I didn't realize it yet but basketball has been really fun and u do it a lot. I also realized that I like to do physical activities than mental activities. This is what I would be if money did not exist.

Hobby

My favorite hobby to do is play basketball. It is my favorite hobby because is shows us how to play with the teammates we got. It also shows us coordination in every part of ur body because we have to run and dribble while looking up at the same time. It also shows us that we have to be on good shape because we have to run back and fourth for a long time. It is also my favorite hobby because it is fun to play and is great for cardio excersise. Another reason why it is my favorite hobby is because I want to play on a team and maybe play professional basket ball. I play basketball everyday just to get better so that when I tryout for the team I will be really good. It is also something that nba players inspire me to play. I have being playing basketball for the past four years just to get better. This is why basketball is my favorite hobby.

The thing I value the most

The thing I care about most or value is my chess trophy. I value my chess trophy because it was 1st place. It also is important because I worked really hard to get that trophy. This trophy is also important because I was undefeated at this tournament. Another reason why this trophy was important is because before the tournament I told my friend that I would get 1st place, and win undefeated. This trophy was also for my grandpa who passed away. I took an oath before this tournament that I would win this for him. Then when I had won the trophy I became so excited. I was so excited because the oath I took became reality. I had one the trophy, and gotten first, and was undefeated. During my grandpas funeral I told him that I won this trophy for him. My grandma then tells me If he was alive that he would be proud of me. I also Value this trophy, because everytime I look at this trophy it shows me what I accomplished. This is what I value the most.

Interesting thing I did over the summer

The one interesting thing I did over the summer was play basketball everyday so that I enhanced my skills.  I play basketball everyday to practice to try out for the team. I also play basketball because it is good for cardio. It is the most interesting I did this summer, because I did nothing else all summer. It is fun to play for fun with other people to test my skills. It also allows me to find out my weaknesses before tryouts. The good thing about playing basketball everyday is it kept me in shape. Another good thing about playing basketball is getting a tan so that I got a darker complexion. Also in basketball it shows me how to cooperate  with my team. Basketball has kept me from any trouble, and kept my in my physical shape. It has also made me more competitive as a person, and to challenge myself to do better in all aspects of my life. This is what was the most interesting thing I did all summer.

Number one rule

There a lot of rules to follow for various reason than one. Every rule is arguable for people's opinions. One rule which is important to follow is following the speed limit. First, of all speeding is more likely to cause collisions. Second, when speeding the vehicle takes longer to stop which could also involve in a collision. Wen speeding past the speed limit there is little time to look at the surroundings and will then have no time to avoid the collision. This rule is also important because research shows that mortar vehicle crashes in the United States result in more than 40,000 deaths per year. Also statistics show more than 3 million people get injured due to car accidents with more than 2 million of these injuries being permanent. On average, there are more than 6 million car accidents on the roads of the us, annually. All these reasons are why this is an important rule to follow.
